Belle Wedding Ring
If you're a Beauty and the Beast fan, this Belle-inspired wedding ring comes complete with a tiara design and is done in gold to evoke images of her beautiful yellow dress.
Princess Jewel Ring
And better yet, you can get two types of wedding rings AND an engagement ring design so your whole finger can be Disney themed.
If you've already got your rings but still want to Disney it up a bit, this Disney wedding ring holder is the perfect accessory for your home that will allow you to store your rings under the helpful watch of some Disney magic.
Disney Themed Wedding Dresses
Finding a Disney themed wedding dress can be difficult depending on where you live and what designers you have available in your country, so instead of looking for specifically Disney themed wedding dresses, I would encourage you to think more “Disney inspired wedding dresses” that are regular wedding dresses you can add accessories to to make them Disney themed.
Add a Tiara to a Ballgown Wedding Dress
Choose a full length and poofy wedding dress from the supplier of your choice to mimic Cinderella's beautiful ballgown.
Use Detailing to Inspire a Disney Themed Wedding Dress
Sometimes, the Disney theming is in the details.
For example, if your favorite Disney princess is Jasmine and you want to look like her on your wedding day without doing the whole “crop top” thing (and I don't blame you), why not consider some super cool beading that will give you a wedding dress that a Disney Princess would love.
Get Married in Color
Hey, newsflash!
You don't HAVE to get married in white!
You can just as easily choose a colored dress that will help you look like a Disney princess.
Think green for Ariel, light pink for Sleeping Beauty, blue for Cinderella, and a golden color for Belle.
Or you could go blue and grey to match the castle – you do you, girl!
Disney Themed Wedding Reception Ideas
When you're ready for the grand reveal to your guests, there's no better way for Disney fans to do it than paying homage to the king and queen of Disney World themselves!
These fun, Disney-created hats are not only perfect for making a statement at your Disney themed wedding, but it's also a nice keepsake for when the celebrations are over.
Oh, and you can and should bring them on your Disney honeymoon because of course.
When it comes to your guest book, which is one of the most important keepsakes from your wedding day, you can always go as Disney themed as you want.
After all, this is YOUR book and you get to decide!
It's also just adorable no matter if you like Disney or not, so there's that.
Make Your Signs Disney-Themed
Plenty of weddings have signs and pictures up around the venue, whether that's to tell the guests where to go (“This Way to Our Happily Ever After!”) or to act as decorations.
Consider something like this “famous Disney couples” canvas to add some Disney flair to your day.
Disney Castle Cake Topper
Okay, so you might not be able to have Mickey and Minnie there like in this picture, but check out that gorgeous castle cake topper.
You can easily find a Disney castle figurine online and have it added to a detailed white cake to make for a stunning and Disney-fied cake.
You could also go to a baker who could make you an edible castle cake topper if you have a bit of an extra budget, but the only sad part about that is having to watch the castle get eaten!
Disney Princess Inspired Wedding Cake
If you're going for the Disney princess wedding theme or you just want a more subtle way to incorporate Disney into your day, having a cake like this with a rose on top and some awesome icing work down the side is a great way to represent your favorite Disney princess without it being over-the-top Disney.
You could choose the flower based on the princess (so, teal flowers for Arial, a rose for Belle, etc) and also take a close look at her dress to decide on what kind of detail work you'd like down around the sides.
The color, too, can be based on your princess, as well as an extra add-ons like the leaves you see in this picture.
Maybe some seashells for Ariel or Moana, some tiny books for Belle or a glass slipper for Cinderella?
Let your imagination run wild with this one.
Disney Themed Wedding Favors
One of the best types of favors are ones your guests can actually use when they take home, and these Mickey Mouse hand soaps are super adorable and will get across your Disney theming perfectly.
You can also wrap them up in some Disney themed tissue paper to hand them out.
Castle Pens
If you have a bit more to spend on your wedding favor, these elegant castle pens are both useful and beautiful.
Your guests will love having a unique wedding favor, and you can even use one during the official signing (or at least have it on the table if you're not allowed to sign with the actual pen).
When we think of Disney inspired wedding ideas, it's easy to just think about Mickey and the princesses, but if you're a huge fan of the theme parks as well, it's nice to include the iconic castle where you can.
Disney Themed Wedding Tables
Planning your table centerpieces and decorations at any wedding can be difficult, but at a Disney themed wedding it can be hard to decide on exactly what route to take with it.
Here are two of my favorite ideas for Disney inspired wedding tables to give you an idea of what yours could look like.
Carriage – themed Tables
Keep your table classy and elegant with Cinderella-inspired tables featuring pumpkins painted white with beading around them, as well as a Mickey and Minnie figurine.
Not only can this look effortlessly beautiful, but it's not too expensive if you're having your wedding during prime pumpkin time and are willing to put in a little extra work and a few trips to the craft store.
Disney Snow Globes
It's a bit more basic, but if you're looking for a quick idea to make every table stand out, choose a different Disney snow globe for each table and put a couple of extra touches (like the flower petals shown here) to complete the look.
All it requires to set up is plonking the snowglobe down on the table, and the Disney characters in their different scenes and costumes will give each table a unique look.
Disney Themed Wedding Gifts
If you're headed to a Disney themed wedding, consider giving a Disney inspired wedding gift!
If the couple have been clear that they're Disney fans, I can guarantee you that they'll welcome as many Disney-themed items as possible into their new home (speaking from experience).
You can make it personalized based on their favorite characters, or you can stick with the classic love story of Mickey and Minnie.
If you are getting a print for their home, it's a good idea to keep it on the smaller size so that they have a better chance of knowing where to put it or having space for it.
We would all love a giant, entire-wall sized painting of Cinderella's Castle, but unfortunately the average house isn't arranged for that. Sadly.
There are some adorable Disney themed drinking glasses that will go perfectly in every Disney fan's kitchen.
It's unlikely anyone else will have copied your gift, and it's way better than getting 18 toasters.
This is an authentic one made by the Disney Parks brand, and it's a nice way to give the couple something that they can remind of their wedding even years down the line.
Disney Gift Card
Whether the couple is planning a Disney trip in the near future or just likes to daydream on the Disney website, every Disney couple could use a Disney gift card.
It's a bit more personal than just giving cash and will ensure that they have to use the money on something that makes them happy, whether that's an experience in the parks or Disney accessories for their home.
As Cinderella’s Coach pulled up at 3 p.m. Oct. 24, 1992, to Sago Cay Lawn at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney fan Trish Bandell Strachan could not help but feel the magic. Cast members and hotel guests on their balconies watched as she said “I do” to her husband, Kris Strachan, and erupted into cheers as the newlyweds marched down the aisle.
“I’ll never forget that,” the 53-year-old Arizona resident said. “It was a very thrilling day.”

The Strachans hosted the first destination wedding with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings at Walt Disney World, according to their wedding planner Susan Millikan (then Wilkinson). But the celebration only came to fruition because of Trish’s parents, Jeanne and Dan Bandell.
Trish and Kris planned to get married in an intimate ceremony in Sedona, Arizona.
“We were hoping that we would glean enough money ... from the wedding so we could afford to go to Disney World for the honeymoon,” Trish said.
But the Bandells had another idea.
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons is celebrating its 30th anniversary with new gowns and venues, plus it will host a virtual event for the public this weekend.

Jeanne and Dan were celebrating their wedding anniversary in February 1992 at Walt Disney World when they wondered if their daughter could marry her prince at The Most Magical Place on Earth instead of merely honeymooning there. In 1991, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings was founded and began offering ceremonies on Disney World property.
After some digging, the Bandells met with Millikan — who joined Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings in January 1992. She was one of five employees in the department and part of the team charged with planning festivities.

“It was just a very exciting time at Disney to unveil the fact that you can have your wedding there,” 66-year-old Orlando resident Millikan said, noting that by the time she left Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings in 1997, the department had grown to 58 cast members.
Millikan’s team identified prime wedding locations across Disney’s property, including Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
“What was important to the brides is to have some semblance of the castle in the background because we didn’t start off with the [Wedding] Pavilion,” she said.
The team assembled packages but really listened to the soon-to-be spouses.
“It was the brides that helped us understand what the needs were and what we needed to reach out to the resorts,” Millikan said. “The chefs needed to serve a wedding customer differently from a convention customer because these weddings were held in the ballrooms, in the same places where the conventions were being held.”

Jeanne and Millikan worked together like a “well-oiled machine” to ensure the wedding was a magical experience.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank Susan enough for what she did for my family,” Trish said. “I get it’s a wedding and everybody has a wedding, but it was more than that to my family.”

Some of Jeanne’s suggestions are still used by Disney today.
Since the couple lacked a ringbearer, Jeanne asked if Disney’s majordomo could do the honor. Millikan thought it was a great idea, and this service is still offered today. Jeanne also asked for the rings (which were inside a glass Cinderella slipper that Millikan gifted to Trish) to be carried atop a pillow she had sewn. Jeanne made a few extras for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings to utilize going forward.
“Jeanne was just a driving force and such a loving mother,” Millikan said. “Her love for her family just shined through.”
Despite staying relatively hands-off, Trish had input with two wedding decisions: the menu and cake, which was based on her drawing.
The five-course wedding meal was the best she’s ever eaten, according to Trish. And her dessert, a white chocolate slipper filled with chocolate mousse and raspberries, was so delicious one guest devoured three helpings.
“I didn’t get a second one, but I wanted one!” Trish said with a laugh.

The Bandell parents paid for the wedding. Jeanne sold wooden crafts she painted at local boutiques and Dan worked as a self-employed graphic designer.
“I know she was working like a fiend,” Trish said, noting her mother sent personalized wedding favors in the mail and assembled baskets for guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, where they blocked off rooms.
“Everybody’s heart and soul went into it,” Millikan said. “And I think with the weddings, they still have the heart and soul to make guests’ wedding day just fantastic as big as it’s gotten.”
In addition to planning the wedding, the Bandells also hosted a rehearsal dinner luau at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and a bridal luncheon on the Empress Lilly (now Paddlefish at Disney Springs). Since Trish and Kris lived in Arizona, the event had a Southwest theme, complete with strolling mariachis and margaritas.
“Jeanne and Dan were every bit as excited and elated to hear the word that they could do this for their daughter as anybody that I’d ever met,” Millikan said.

The celebration continued past the wedding night. The following morning, the couple arrived at 8 a.m. at Magic Kingdom for one last surprise: They donned Mickey ears and waved to the crowd as grand marshals in the parade with Trish’s sister (Tina), niece and cousin.
Trish was a bit reluctant to join the parade because she didn’t want to spoil the Disney magic by going backstage.
“I didn’t want to see too much,” Trish said. “But it was so fascinating for me. It was just the cherry on top.”
The Strachans still got their Disney honeymoon, staying at the resort for about eight days after the wedding exploring the parks and enjoying family time.
Disney has always meant a lot to Trish. She and her family, originally from Massachusetts, visited Walt Disney World 60 times before her wedding, which marked her 61st trip.

“My dad was a self-employed artist … and whenever he got a check, he would kind of throw us all in the car, and we were going to Disney,” Trish said. “[My parents] wanted to have fun with their kids, and they certainly did.”
A few nostalgic rides for Trish: Peter Pan’s Flight and The Carousel of Progress.
“I will always be hooked on the Peter Pan’s Flight because that was that was a story that my dad would elaborate on,” she said, noting her family would sing Carousel of Progress anthem “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” the entire 27-hour car ride home to Massachusetts.
When Trish was in her teens, her parents bought a vacation mobile home and brought many friends on their Disney trips.
“My parents always included kids who had large families who may not get to vacation very often. They were always generous, even as working artists,” Trish said. “They believed every child should be able to live a fantasy while young.”
Like Trish, Kris was raised with a love of Disney, though his family’s park of choice was Disneyland.
“We were both very attached to the imagination that it takes for Disney to pull out all the stops,” Trish said. Knowing that, the couple was “jaw-droppingly thrilled” to have their wedding at Walt Disney World. “I couldn’t believe that I was privileged enough to start my life that way with my husband.”

Trish views the wedding as a culmination of everything her family did growing up. It was also a big day for her parents, who never had a wedding but instead eloped.
“I think this was as much a celebration of their relationship as well as ours,” Trish said. “The pride on their faces the day of the wedding was just so fitting.”
And some could call it kismet, as a 4-year-old Trish once stood in front of Cinderella Castle and informed her parents that one day she would marry her prince at Disney.
“We’re very goal-oriented people and we put things out in the universe and, who knows, maybe that’s what happened,” Trish said.

Both artists, Trish and Kris ran a mural business together after the wedding, creating fantasy spaces for their clients. While Trish said they aren’t “crazy Disney people,” they have a Disney quote prominently displayed in their home as well as an “Up”-themed room for their four grandchildren. Disney gifted the couple a vow renewal at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, which did not open until 1995. The Strachans also hope to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World.

“Disney has affected everything in our lives, and we’ve embraced it thoroughly. And honestly, it has helped us through many difficult times,” she said. “We started at the happiest place on Earth. We’re going to see this through.”
